Instructions for Extras Friday August 13th

Hello! We’re very excited to be shooting our big “Celebration” scene and we’re looking forward to having you involved. We are looking for 200+ Extras of all ages and ethnicities for this shoot.

It is important for you to carefully read the wardrobe notes below to ensure you are in the correct clothing or you may not be able to appear in the scene.

Where:

Lake Samm Church 14434 NE 8th St, Bellevue WA 98007

Craft services provided. (Please have your own dinner before you come.) We will be having short bathroom / crafty breaks but there will not be a break for a meal.

MINORS:

All minors involved must have a parent / legal guardian sign a release form to be involved. All minors involved must have a supervising adult with them on set at all times.

WARDROBE NOTES:

Thank you for wearing your own clothes! • We are shooting interior shots of a church service taking place in JANUARY in the Seattle area. Please wear WINTER colors and clothing items. (Think January… not “Christmas” colors) • The church has a casual to dress-casual atmosphere. This is NOT the kind of church where people wear their “Sunday best” clothes. This is a family church, both in the literal sense, and in the spiritual “family” sense. So please dress as though you are going to a place where you want to look well put-together to meet with friends and family, but not all dressed up. • EXAMPLES: Khaki’s, slacks, nice jeans, modest skirts with tights, button front shirts, polo shirts, modest blouses/tops, sweaters, cardigans, boots, rain-resistant shoes. • NO high contrast colors or busy prints/patterns, NO bright/neon colors (e.g. orange, yellow, hot pink). The High Definition cameras have a hard time with these. • NO brands, icons or faces on your clothing. These have copyright issues. • NO summer clothing please! Even if you personally wear flip-flops year-round… it won’t work for the movie! No shorts, capris, tank tops etc. Without Winter clothing you may not be able to be in the scene. That would be sad.

PROPS NOTES:

Please bring a winter coat, a Bible (if you have one). Ladies, bring a winter-style handbag.

MAKE-UP & HAIR NOTES:

Thanks everyone, we’ll double check your hair & make-up on set to make sure you’ll look great! Women: Come with hair styled and make up done and appropriate for going to a casual church in January Men: Come with hair styled and clean face. Make up needs, if any, will be addressed on set.
