Hello! We’re half way through our production and very excited to be shooting our big “Christmas Pageant” scene. We’re looking forward to having you involved.

There are two layers of times. The first shoot is required for everyone. If you can stay longer, we would love to have you. For continuity purposes, if you are unable to do the morning time we can’t have you in the afternoon shoots.
Shoot 1: Whole Church (need 300 extras)
Call Time: Check-in: 9:00-9:30am
Rehearsal: 9:45am
Shoot: 10:30am – 4:30pm
Craft services and Lunch provided
Wardrobe: Instructions will be posted Tuesday April 20.
Plus Shoot 2
Shoot: 4:30 – 10:00pm-ish
Wardrobe: Same outfits as shoot 1.
Please plan to be on set for the full duration of the shoots you are committing to. For continuity reasons, do not leave part-way through the shoot.
NOTES from our Wardrobe Supervisor:
- Thank you for wearing your own clothes!
- You are part of the audience at a church Christmas Pageant on Christmas Eve.
- You have a range of clothing options… anything from a fun “Christmas” outfit (Christmas sweater, red/green clothing) to a nice party outfit.
- We don’t want everyone to be dressing the same so don’t “try too hard”… just wear what you would normally wear to a Christmas event.
- Christmas accessories like earrings or pins can also be used.
EXAMPLES: Khaki’s, slacks, nice jeans, modest skirts with tights, button front shirts, polo shirts, nice tshirts, modest blouses/tops, sweaters, cardigans, dresses. (Ladies, please wear conservative outfits. For example, please avoid low cut tops and short skirts.)
NO high contrast colors (e.g. black&white stripes), NO busy prints/patterns, NO bright/neon colors (e.g. orange, yellow, hot pink). The High Definition cameras have a hard time with these. If in doubt, still bring it as one of your options. NO brands, icons or faces on your clothing. These have copyright issues.
PLEASE keep in mind: the set will be quite hot but you do need to look like it’s winter. Wear light weight clothing but still make sure your arms are covered like it’s cold. 
MAKE-UP & HAIR NOTES from our Lead Make-up & Hair:
Thanks everyone, we’ll double check your hair & make-up on set to make sure you’ll look great!
Women: Come with hair styled and make up done as if going to a “Festive” Christmas evening at church. It’s a bit more “done up” than casual Sunday church. Please note that NO hair or make-up will be done on set for extras. So PLEASE come with your make-up on. If you normally do not wear make-up please do your best to put something on your face (e.g. lipstick and a little blush) so you don’t get washed out by the powerful lighting.
Men: Come with hair styled and clean face.
