KIDS WARDROBE NOTES

- Thank you for wearing your own clothes!

- Your child is in scenes about an “after school program” for low & mid-income families.

- The scenes are set in November / December in the Seattle area.  Think warm layers in dark Fall colors / fashion styles. (Girls: pink is not a fall color!)

- Your child should wear clothing that looks like they were worn all day at school.

- EXAMPLES: Jeans, khakis, or corduroy pants for boy and girls, since they will be playing on the floor.  Top layers could include sweaters, long sleeve tees, warm vests, ponchos, etc. Weather appropriate footwear for the season is preferred (e.g. Boots, dark colored shoes, etc).

- Wear nice comfortable clothing.  Do NOT try to look “poor” or “shabby”.  But do avoid “showy” or expensive clothing.

- BRING two sets of clothes in different colors. The Wardrobe department will make final decisions on your wardrobe on set.

- NO high contrast colors (e.g. black&white stripes), NO busy prints/patterns, NO bright/neon colors (e.g. orange, yellow, hot pink).  The High Definition cameras have a hard time with these.  If in doubt, still bring it as one of your options. NO logos, brands or faces please.  There are copyright issues.

KIDS PROP NOTES

Please bring a backpack, coat and lunch box for your child.

PARENT NOTES

Please plan to stay on-set with your child actor.  Minors must be supervised by their parent/legal guardian.  You are also invited to be part of the scenes as “parents” or “teachers”.  We really hope you’ll be in the scene as we need adults to fill those roles!
